Wine Cask
Bottled in November 2005, this Isle of Arran cask strength release spent time in a Montepulciano d'Abruzzo cask and was limited to just 317 bottles.
Chewy sultanas and a chewy grapes. Hints of port and thick oak.
Rich and pungent. The port notes have developed with tannic intent and proffer ample mastication when combined with a rich oak. Winter spices emerge with rum notes and a touch of smoke.
Long and peppery with a good sweetness.
