Sherry
This is a 16 year old Arran single malt Scotch whisky, specially bottled for Italian bottler, Silver Seal. It was distilled by those wonderful folks at Arran in February 2000 and left to age in a Sherry hogshead until July 2016, when it was bottled at cask strength. A release of 232 bottles from Arran's Private Cask range.
Honey'd cereals and fresh lime, with underlying raspberry sweetness.
Orange chocolate, barley sweets, a hint of liquorice. Develops a wine-like quality after a minute.
Medium length. Quite chocolatey.
