This 2010s bottling of Arran 14 Year Old was finished in fresh bourbon and sherry hogsheads two years before it was bottled. The result is a sweet, fruity single malt, brimming with rich, biscuity malt.

Really solid. This has a very nice long spicy finish.
UCF, NC, 46%, Ralfy's best of the Arran range, sherry, strong fruit, full, complex, citrus & spicy finish…long. Why are there so many malts 2x to 3x this price that are thin, weak, colored, and simple? Keep producing Arran!
very good smooth
Lovely stuff. Tried a batch of samples from across the different regions, and settled on Arran 14. Not too sweet, Not too nippy. Leaves a warm glow, as a good dram of malt should.
This certainly hits my sweet spot. Lovely nose with sherry and a meadow of wild flowers in high summer. Perfectly balanced with good chewy mouth feel, toffee, vanilla, honey, flowers, hint of almond, no burn and a long, lingering finish full of spices and a little liquorice root. Absolutely marvellous. I'll be back for another bottle of this for sure.
