This peated Ardnamurchan single malt Scotch whisky was aged in a single first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry cask and bottled at a cask strength of 59.8% ABV without added colouring or chill filtration for independent wine and spirits merchant Nickolls & Perks. The barrel yielded just 313 bottles.
Oolong tea and lit charcoal brick. Amongst the embers, damp mulch and thick Autumnal air with wisps of sea spray and blackberry jam.
Overripe plums and black pepper precede cinnamon and dark chilli chocolate dipped into espresso.
Leather and liquorice draw long into the finish.
