Ardmore Traditional Peated 1l Reviews

Super balance of peat and flavour

Excellent balance of peat. Much milder than the heavy weights Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Caol Ila.

A fine whiskey

Nose: Dawn whispy peat.

Palate: Drowned sweetened peat. Oddly there is grass.

After: The peat glides you out and its short and sweet peat.

Peated

My sister bought this by mistake for me in Dubai Airport, I asked for the Legacy, But I really love it and of course it is much higher quality than the Legacy which is regularly on offer in Asda and Tesco for £20.

Excellent

Ha ha, Dewars is what I occasionally buy....my son had a layover in Ireland following a deployment recently. He brought me a liter of this. Tried a sip, neat, an explosion of flavor with tingling in the throat....

A top dram

Probably one of the nicer peat whiskeys I've had. Will definitely be buying this again!

Solid

Not sure I'm looking for so much smokey peat in a highland malt - best left to the Islay distilleries IMHO

Love it

This won't be to everyone's palate as it's strong in peat, but if you like that then you'll love this, it's my favourite.
