Nose: Burnt sugar and toasted malt, with layers of light peat smoke.

Palate: Sweetness of vanilla and barley sugar blend well with earthy peat.

Finish: Petrichor and honey'd cereal.

Ardmore Traditional Peated 1l Reviews

Excellent

Ha ha, Dewars is what I occasionally buy....my son had a layover in Ireland following a deployment recently. He brought me a liter of this. Tried a sip, neat, an explosion of flavor with tingling in the throat....

A top dram

Probably one of the nicer peat whiskeys I've had. Will definitely be buying this again!

Solid

Not sure I'm looking for so much smokey peat in a highland malt - best left to the Islay distilleries IMHO

Love it

This won't be to everyone's palate as it's strong in peat, but if you like that then you'll love this, it's my favourite.
