A 5 year old Ardmore here, drawn from a pair of bourbon barrels which were laid down in 2011 and cracked open in 2016. It was bottled for the Strictly Limited range by Càrn Mòr with an outturn of 690 bottles.
Porridge with brown sugar, charred oak staves and a wisp of sea breeze.
Oily. Peat smoke persists, underpinned with vanilla and oat-y biscuits.
A light touch of dried apricot joins the spicy smoke.
