Single malt from the Ardmore distillery, independently released by Berry Bros. & Rudd. Matured between 2009 and 2022, this expression spent its time in a single cask that previously held Islay whisky, bolstering the smoky character of the whisky within.
Charred vanilla, a touch of dried violet and heather, with earthy ash and a hint of medicinal peat.
The rich smoke takes hold, with stewed orchard fruits and smoked liquorice.
Lingering notes of iodine and vegetal smoke, with crumbly fudge and floral tea.
