11 year old single malt Scotch from Ardmore, distilled in 2011 and matured in a single oloroso sherry cask. That cask was opened in 2022 by the team at independent bottler Murray McDavid, releasing a total of 267 bottles for its Benchmark collection.
Zesty spiced orange, honeyed nuts, juicy sultanas, and chocolate wafers, with whispers of smoked tea.
Fruit loaf with generous spices and melted butter. Chewy toffee and oak char open the way for elegant peat smoke.
Festive spice remains, with sweet dried fruits and plumes of soft smoke.
