This special release from Ardbeg was produced especially for the Ardbeg Committee, to celebrate Mickey Heads' 13 years as distillery manager. Managers are a bit like captains aren't they, so you could say that Mickey was the captain. If the Ardbeg Distillery was in fact a ship, it would make sense that it be a cool, historic pirate ship, and everyone would pronounce it Arrrrrrrdbeg! Matured entirely in ex-rye casks, this is packed with fruity flavour and classic peaty tang.
