Part of the limited Smoketrails series, this litre-format Ardbeg takes the Islay icon into wine cask territory. Specifically, a finish in red wine casks from California’s famed Napa Valley, which add dark fruit and juicy richness to the peat-heavy profile. Bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered, this release is a wild ride of smoke and jam. An Islay barbecue with an extra layer of vinous flair.

Nose
