A boisterous young expression from Ardbeg, this eight year old single malt was produced to be deliberately challenging, originally released as an exclusive for members of the Ardbeg Committee.
Quite a few negative reviews of this,I decided to purchase after I finished Bizarrebq,which I thought was amazing.This does indeed taste,initially,of charcoal,hints of the ten year old,combined with a vegetal flavor,not sure exactly,I am liking this!
This expression from Ardbeg has been getting mixed reviews.I decided to try it as I had just finished a bottle of the insanely good Bizarrebq. Definite charcoal,some fruit and an undeniable vegetal flavor,this is really rather tasty,not sure why this was 20 quid cheaper than Bizarrebq,who cares both are excellent,would definitely buy again!
