Oooh, indie Ardbeg - delicious! This is a Malts of Scotland bottling of single malt from the Ardbeg distillery, drawn from a single sherry butt which was home to the whisky from 2000 to 2018. A release of 525 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
New leather, tomato stem, cinnamon, chocolate orange and a light whiff of burnt oak.
Palate
Slightly meaty, but savoury notes are balanced by sweeter hints of rich oloroso and Demerara sugar.
Finish
Polished oak, a hint of seaweed, chocolate once again.
