Nice Islay dram... Pretty good dram for a hard day's night... As for me, it is better than Laphroaig 10 yo... Will definitely try 14 or 16 yo one soon...
I have been drinking 10years old Ardbeg for more than 30 years never had it so bad like this time I don't know what kind of whiskey it's but it's utterly awful whiskey and way too expensive for what u get will not buy Ardbeg again they have lost it or some bad cheating going on there . That was bad and would like to return if I could
A purchase on a whim, and what a wonderful choice. Ardbeg 10 is unapologetically Ardbeg. Smoke. The smoke works in harmony with the other elements in the glass. It is there from picking up the glass, but doesn't dominate the taste as the nose suggests. A delicate taste of a good, light dram exist behind the smoke - they co-exist. This is the point when many are put off. No. Just lift the glass slowly and try, the beautiful with not a bullying smoke. Highly recommend.
I’m a Great fan of Islay peated whisky so I thought I’d give this a try. Unfortunately it’s not as fine as I expected.
Plenty has been said about this, so all I'll add is that I found it to be a great whisky. I will purchase another so hope the quality has not dropped as has been rumoured!
