This here is a limited edition single grain from Arbikie, made with a mash of rye, wheat and malted barley. The whisky has been matured for three years in first-fill American oak casks, and treated to a finish in Pedro Ximénez casks. Arbikie Highland Rye is the first Scotch whisky made using rye to be released in over 100 years, and less than 1,000 bottles of this special stuff have been released.

Been looking for this for ages and had the pleasure of trying it in The Gate in Glasgow. For a 3yo it was stunning. You can get a big taste of the Rye added to the sweetness of the sherry casks. Highly recommended. Cannot wait to try the 4yo when it comes out.
