Bourbon
A peated single malt Scotch whisky from the Annandale Distillery in the Lowlands, released as part of the Man O'Sword series and matured in a single cask. Specifically, a single bourbon cask. Even more specifically, a single bourbon cask that was filled back in 2015. It was eventually bottled at 58.7% ABV in 2023.
Grilled lemon and roasted pineapple, with a touch of polished oak furniture.
Baking spices and peaty smoke, with a honeyed sweetness developing later on.
Peppery, plus lasting caramelised nut sweetness.
