It's another wonderful single cask release from the Annandale Distillery in the Lowlands! Whereas the Man O'Words releases from the distillery are unpeated, Man O'Sword is its peated expression (see what they did there with the letter switcharoo?). This particular bottling was distilled in 2015 and left in a single bourbon cask until it was bottled at 60% ABV, with just 270 bottles of the fruity, smoky single malt released.
Slightly smoky Darjeeling tea, with tinned pineapple, buttery pastry and barbecue coals.
Toffee popcorn and banana bread, with wood smoke, white pepper and apple tart.
A crack of black pepper rounds things off, with a hint of tangy pineapple returning.
