Not something you see every day, but the &Whisky folk certainly know what they're doing. The earthy Islay peat is mellowed by a silky sweet nuttiness, making for an oh-so-sippable whisky.
Earthy peat mingles with apricot, buttery shortbread, warm oak, and a touch of furniture polish.
Sweet, barbecued meats, with cornbread, maple syrup, and a crack of earthy black pepper.
The peat lingers, with drizzles of caramel.

This is a fantastic mash up of Islay peatiness & the sweeter corn whisky with the maple and oats. This makes for an excellent dram.
I just left two pants reviews of some other seaweed aeons whiskies even though I'm usually a fan. This is a great one though. Lovely balance of smoke and sweetness which might sound a bit weird but for me it works.
I'm a fan of these whiskies in general, love the peat and smoke but ths one of their best. I could definitely put up there as one of the best for the price.
