    anCnoc 22 Year Old

This is a brand-spanking-new anCnoc, distilled at the Knockdhu distillery and aged in both American bourbon casks and Spanish oak Oloroso sherry-seasoned casks for a period of 22 years. Very rich and full of flavour.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Sweet, biscuity aromas. Hints of manuka honey and toffee apples. Notes of mince pies, a touch of smoke and candied lemon peel. Slightly floral.

    Palate

Full-bodied palate entry with notes of Corinth raisins and citrus. Hints of spice, custard and calves leather. Quite juicy and faintly smoked.

    Finish

Long finish with honey and allspice.

    Finally!

Glad to see that you have now updated the details to include the correct distillery.

    A little bit of history

"You are completely correct in that the wrong distillery has been attributed with An Cnoc 22YO. The distillery should read as Knockdhu. I will forward your e-mail and link to our An Cnoc Brand Manager and she will take the issue up further with the Sunday Times and hopefully have the information updated. Thank you and regards Customer Services Manager Inver House Enquiries" Glad to see you have finally changed this obvious mistake, and have seen fit to post my original comments about it on your review board. Pity you didn't have the courage to leave them up whilst you were displaying the wrong information.

Not very well informed, are we?

It's news to me that anCnoc is from the Knockando distillery. Please can you let me know when the change happened, because as far as I was aware anCnoc is still being made at the Knockdhu distillery. Never mind, if you can charge people £91 per bottle without even bothering to describe it properly then more fool the idiots who'll pay this. Anyway, they both begin with a "K" don't hey?
