Bagheera is Hindi for panther if you were wondering, and if you were wondering what this whisky is made of, well, it's a combination of malted barley with 1% of peated malted barley thrown in for good measure, all finished in sherry casks. My first Amrut to try. Being Serbian, the nose reminds me of cheap slivovitza, but after you allow it to breathe in a glass a bit, it gets better. It is unexpectedly good on the palate, like Loch Lomond 18, but slightly more peaty and the finish is bit more peppery, but in a good way. I have not come across a dram yet with the nose and palate so different to each other. I do enjoy it, though.
