Distilled from barley grown at the North West of India. Amrut mature their single malt in New American Oak and ex-bourbon before bottling.
Intense barley and grain, nutty, citrus, apricot.
Barley, honey develops with allspice, apricot, rum.
Apples, apricot, greengages, malt, fruit.

Taste Really amazing. I regularly buy. Specially Amrut Fusion.
As per subject - there's a hint of peat but nothing too much, fruity but not in your face fruity as you might expect.
Decided to try Amrut , had high expectations, but was disappointed The worst whiskey I've ever tasted , like a cross between battery acid and gasoline .Will stick with Scotch and Irish in future .
