Fusion is a particularly apt name for this fantastic single malt whisky from Amrut. Y'see, it's made with barley grown in India, where the Amrut Distillery can be found, as well as peated barley from Scotland! Makes sense, right? Not just a clever name, it's also a cracking whisky, offering up generous helpings of fresh fruit, honey, spice and a good whiff of smoke.
Rich, barley, fruity. Big on citrus, spices, creamy sweetness. A hint of peat.
Oaky, rich, gentle peat, coffee, dark chocolate. Fruity.
Long, spiced, marmalade, sweetness.

let us accept it is a peaty whisky for Indian taste. People who like peaty whiskeys can go for it. However, people who fancy a different taste can go for other single malt that are not peaty
Among the world's best for the price. A lovely meeting between fruity-chocolate sweetness and gentle smokiness - in the nose, in the palate, and even in the finish. Resembles JW Blue Label, but more distinctive, yet also more affordable. Hardly can think about anything more interesting in that price category (and even higher).
