Distilled by Allt-á-Bhainne back in 2008, this single cask Scotch whisky was bottled by Italian indie bottlers Samaroli at 43% ABV in 2016, and just 340 bottles have been produced of an edition that represents outstanding value. You know what to do.
Through herbal honey and vanilla biscuits, comes fresh orange zest and cooking spice.
Starts delicately with rose water, fruity berry notes and tulips, before earthy, dried grass and green chilli spice bring muscle and depth.
Brown sugar melts into earthy barley amongst prominent honeyed oak.
So sweet, it has almost a wine quality to it. Incredibly smooth and like nothing I've tried before.
