An indie Allt-á-Bhainne here from House of Macduff, distilled all the way back in 1995! It rested in a single bourbon cask for just shy of a quarter of a century, until it was bottled for The Golden Cask series at 24 years old, with a release of 202 bottles at 57.9% ABV.
Vanilla sponge cake, with spiced apple loaf, and buttered tea cake.
Orange marmalade, toffee apple, and a burst of strawberry, with green oak bringing balance.
Lemon drizzle cake and peppery oak linger.
