Single Malt
Scotland
1 Jan 1993
This single malt Scotch was distilled at Allt-á-Bhainne back in 1993 and treated to a nice long stay in a single hogshead. After 29 years, the cask was opened by the gang at indie bottler Wemyss Malts, to release a total of 275 bottles.
Toasted coconut and vanilla sponge cake balance zesty marmalade and vegetal malt.
Rich, oaken caramel with a touch of grassy barley is followed by tangy citrus peels and zesty fruit sorbet.
Creamy chocolate wraps things up, with syrupy ginger cake, earthen vanilla pod, and a prickle of pepper.
