Breath of the Isles 11 Year Old 2007 (Adelphi)
A mystery single malt from Adelphi, released as part of its Breath of the Isles series. The whisky comes from one of the distilleries on Scotland's many isles, though no hints are given as to which island or which distillery was responsible. What we do know, however, is that it was distilled in 2007 and matured for 11 years until it was bottled in 2019 with an outturn of 662 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Toffee, buttered malt loaf, cinnamon and sea air.
Palate
Butterscotch, a soft hint of clove-studded-orange, more coastal elements.
Finish
Sherry and salted caramel.
