Adelphi's Liddesdale 18 Year Old

Liddesdale 18 Bottling Note

A secret single malt from Adelphi, this is supposedly an Islay dram, and there is more than a hint of Northern fruit in it, but we can't give you any more hints than that. It was bottled from 5 refill European oak sherry butts. Aged for 18 years.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Mince-pies, brandy sauce, spent firework.

Palate: Sweet, oily and orangey, truly mouth-coating.

Finish: Reasonably long with orange zest, caramel and dried date notes.

Overall: Dense sherry flavours with a distinct oiliness. A real treat of a dram!
