Adelphi's Glenborrodale 9 Year Old (Batch 7)
It's batch seven of Adelphi's toasty Glenborrodale blended malt. The nine year old marries a whole host of tasty malt whiskies from various distilleries, with lots of baked goods in the flavour profile. Batch No.7 is a release of 738 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Mint chocolate sponge cake, with cookie dough, lemon drizzle cake and raspberry jam. Freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, a dash of citrus and some sherried fruit.
Palate
Orange chocolate, Victoria sponge with strawberry jam and buttered, toasted brioche.
Finish
Cherry jam and honey, with a dash of pink grapefruit.
