A Blended Scotch Whisky from Adelphi, perhaps better known as an independent bottler. However, this blend of grain and malt whisky is from its private stock which is kept in a solera system. Though exactly where the whisky hails from is kept rather hush-hush, we suspect it contains spirit from all over the shop, from Islay, Speyside, and Campbeltown.
The aroma is a pleasing fusion of salty peat and estery fruitiness. If you like your big fruits Speysiders and your peaty Islays this could be just your thing!
The palate takes on a coastal quality with an all-round nuttiness and a medium-body.
The finish is long with beach bonfire notes and some pear-drop flavours.
This blend takes the best of Scotland and fuses it into something new. A truly excellent blend.

Customer Rating
“I am usually more of a single malt fan, but this blend is absolutely fantastic, For the price this can't be easily beat. If your a big fan of islay then I urge you to try this, it may lack the complexity of lagavulin but it is exactly what you ask for from an islay with a heavy medicinal peat that rides all the way to the finish.”

I have ordered this several times. I don't need to add anything to the tasting notes...as described! Very smooth, easy drinking and moreish. I took a bottle to a friend who was likewise delighted by the taste and smoothness. Excellent at its price point.
I first tasted this whisky at the Stoke Whisky Festival this year. Myself and others who had a sample were astounded by how good this was for the price… Anyone who buys the standard supermarket blends as their go to affordable whisky really need to grab a bottle of this, once they taste this the rest will pale into insignificance..
An absolute delight, delicate and smooth. My new go to whisky, better than anything I've tasted on the shelves of most supermarkets in the same price range.
The best blend at its price range hands down! Strong Campbeltown influence on the nose and then rich honey / toffee on the palate from everywhere else. Not complex, but not boring either. Once this opens up it’s a delight
As a go to bottle for a dram my favourite blend has been Black Label, not any more, this has taken my top blend slot, I have now swapped this for Adelphi. A lovely nutty, smooth and smokey flavour. A wonderful Whiskey from a beautiful part of the world
