The Casg Annamh series from Aberlour takes its name from the Gaelic for "rare cask", and a trio of casks are used to create the expressions - European oak sherry casks and two types of American oak cask. The result is brimming with toffee and dried fruit, alongside a generous handful of kitchen spices.
Milky coffee, flame raisins and plenty of honeyed malt.
Golden Grahams, nectarines, cinnamon and strawberry jam.
Cooking spices, sugary biscuits and red apples.

Of all the Aberlour whiskeys this is my favourite. The star rating is dragged down by one barbarian who actually thinks putting ice in a highland malt is acceptable behaviour. May I suggest you delete that half-star “Grim” rating?
Great and smooth taste, fruity and spicy as well
Received as a gift and I was very impressed ?
Another batch of good whisky...yummy
Have tried batch 1 before, and love the 12. This is such a nice dram! My wife and I both really enjoyed this release. Smooth and really tasty with the hints of spice and red wine. I know it's subjective, but I don't understand the negative reviews, this was just fantastic.
