It's Aberlour's ever-popular A'Bunadh single malt Scotch whisky! Each batch of this single malt is matured entirely in Spanish oloroso sherry butts, bestowing huge helpings of dried fruit and festive spice notes to the whisky, after which it's bottled up at full-on cask strength with no chill-filtration.
Zesty notes of chocolate-coated orange wheels join sticky ginger loaf and sherried fruits.
Plump sultanas, prunes, cakey spice, and marmalade, with biscuity malt and toffee apple in tow.
Sweet spices and rich oak linger.

I really like these a'Bunadh's. This one sure have a lots of sherry character, but not as earlier batches. Opens up a lot with water.Fruitier than ever!
Usually cask strengths are eye-openers (quite literally). This one is dangerous because it's so easy to drink. It's absolutely delicious so watch yourself.
I like this one without any water. Even at nearly 60% alcohol this is a very smooth scotch. The mouth just warms, right on the side of the tongue, when you sip on this one. It's got a wonderful cinnamon flavor to it with a touch of citrus on the tongue. The finish on it is strong. A touch of water brings out the marzipan. Fantastic drink.
This is a very spicy whisky. The sherry jumps out at you, almost like an alcoholic peppermint. The finish lasts a good while on this one. A splash of water really brings out the subtlety to it.
Like Aberlour its self quiet' unassumimg but absolute quality.
