It's Aberlour's ever-popular A'Bunadh single malt Scotch whisky! Each batch of this single malt is matured entirely in Spanish oloroso sherry butts, bestowing huge helpings of dried fruit and festive spice notes to the whisky, after which it's bottled up at full-on cask strength with no chill-filtration.
Zesty notes of chocolate-coated orange wheels join sticky ginger loaf and sherried fruits.
Plump sultanas, prunes, cakey spice, and marmalade, with biscuity malt and toffee apple in tow.
Sweet spices and rich oak linger.

Was looking forward to this after previous releases . Hard to say without a previous bottling to hand what has changed but it's not as I remember. Nice strong whisky, balanced but nothing special .
Overwhelmingly creamy and rich with heavy Sherry flavor. Absolutely delightful
Wow. I'm a big fan of more aggressive islay malts, and this is as far removed from Corryvrevkan that you can get, but like most things in life, maintaining a balance is a good thing, so it's attractive to have a wide range of flavours in your cabinet. The cask strength is evident, and a few drops of water soften it up beautifully, thereafter its like scoffing Terry's chocolate orange and fruit cake. The finish is excellent, I'm getting chocolate, pears and marzipan but it lasts for ages, it's reminiscent of the Ardbegs in that respect. I found my bottle in a local Waitrose, they also has some batch #59 and batch #60 mixed up with this #61 on the shelf, I was tempted to buy all three!
My brother-in-law was over for a scotch tasting this holiday season. Every year we try to get together. This year he really wants to purchase a bottle (we always drink what l have) so we dropped in and picked up a bottle of this batch 58. it was my first sample of any Aberlour product. l really wasn't sure what to expect out of this 61.1% bottle of A'Bunadh. WELL let me tell you, if you have not tried this scotch, SHAME, SHAME ON YOU. do yourself a FLAVOUR. Try it. Before l let you go, we were on line checking out the reviews on this dram and came across high reviews for the Batch 49. l found two old dusty bottles at the Nova Scotia Liq. Corp. Sweet.
Me gusta mucho la exploción de sabores en este maravilloso espiritu. Sherry, especias navideñas, un rico sabor leve a bourbon, dulzura leve y me sigue sorprendiendo hasta su final que es bastante largo.
