It's Aberlour's ever-popular A'Bunadh single malt Scotch whisky! Each batch of this single malt is matured entirely in Spanish oloroso sherry butts, bestowing huge helpings of dried fruit and festive spice notes to the whisky, after which it's bottled up at full-on cask strength with no chill-filtration.
Zesty notes of chocolate-coated orange wheels join sticky ginger loaf and sherried fruits.
Plump sultanas, prunes, cakey spice, and marmalade, with biscuity malt and toffee apple in tow.
Sweet spices and rich oak linger.

Had Aberlour on Facebook - expressed concerns about the ridonkulous price...told 'em to read on here...is no way on earth i will pay these new prices..
First bottle was a present. Once sampled, I purchased a second. REGRET NOT BUYING MORE. Probably the best whisky I have ever tasted.
Just ignore the ABV. This is one smooth drinker once you accept the butn from the alcohol itself
This used to be my goto non Islay for under £50 but now its almost twice the price it used to be. Do yourself a favour and get the Glenfarclas 105. It's under £50 and more sherry notes.
Just bought my Last Ever bottle from Amazon £49 (admittedly getting slightly worse over the batches) So I was already questioning this at £50. Due to the quality of the Oloroso cask (probably 3rd-4th fill) and gone are the heady days of the 30s and 40s that were a surpreme NAS sherry bomb experience- that led you back time and again. Quality has gone down and now the PR team have shafted us mere mortals! Hopefully people will be switched off in droves- and look elsewhere. 75% price increase in 3 years? Good bye Aberlour- it’s been emotional
