It's Aberlour's ever-popular A'Bunadh single malt Scotch whisky! Each batch of this single malt is matured entirely in Spanish oloroso sherry butts, bestowing huge helpings of dried fruit and festive spice notes to the whisky, after which it's bottled up at full-on cask strength with no chill-filtration.
Zesty notes of chocolate-coated orange wheels join sticky ginger loaf and sherried fruits.
Plump sultanas, prunes, cakey spice, and marmalade, with biscuity malt and toffee apple in tow.
Sweet spices and rich oak linger.

I had run out of my Tomatin here in Hawaii...what to do. The folks at the local store recommended this Aberlour and what a surprise it was. Even stocked up on a few bottles.
To all you lovers of great Scotch Whiskey out there, Aberlour A'Bunadh is one of my top picks for great flavour, and smooth taste after the first bite taste. It is such a shame that I did not discover this Scotch sooner. I now have stage 4 metastatic melanoma cancer that is not curable and I will be missing out on years of great Scotch drinking I could have had, if I would have found it sooner. I just went and bought one of the last bottles of batch 39 barrel strength of 59.8% alcohol and I will treasure every last drop to the end of my life. My applause to great Scotch makers. Till DEATH do us part. Take care to all. Sincerely, Austin Adams.
Heavily sherried cask strength beast Amazing
this is one you keep fer yourself..sorry
Both times that I offered this at tastings it's been hands down the favorite. Interestingly, none of us liked it as much with water in it. I prefer peated scotches, but this one shows why we need to keep an open mind. One of the best experiences this side of heaven.
