    Aberlour A'Bunadh

It's Aberlour's ever-popular A'Bunadh single malt Scotch whisky! Each batch of this single malt is matured entirely in Spanish oloroso sherry butts, bestowing huge helpings of dried fruit and festive spice notes to the whisky, after which it's bottled up at full-on cask strength with no chill-filtration.

    Agreed with 1st guy

I rreceived a bottle as a gift and researched the batch here. o counteract to bad flavor, and filtered the whiskey through a britta filter 3 times.Made a world of difference in the flavor.

Simply stunning- Big A is back on form

I don't really like sherried whiskies unless they are really well done. And I have had some Abunadh's in the past that have been interesting, intense, but not always really drinkable: a few bits out of shape that somehow seem overly demanding of the drinker. Not this one however, it has depth, complexity, balance, deftness, weight and really hangs together, whilst being superbly drinkable. As good a whisky as you can find at any price, and to find it at this one is unreal. Just bought 6 its that good.

    Magnificent

Bought this with a little trepidation after my previous bottle disappointed somewhat. (Batch 42). This is in another league entirely. Rich and fruity with a huge sherry influence that suggests the casks used were of superb quality. I'm a fan again!

    Mrs

Astonishing! I came across this whisky visiting a friend in a remote part of Sweden called Dalarna. I 'm a red wine lover with a sensitive palate and I have never understood all the hallelujah about whisky, though I've tried. This whisky was special, balanced and still intriguing to the palate and tongue! Sweet, with tones of dried fruits and sherry. Not too smoky. Not burning despite its strength. Maybe this is the start of an unexpected love affair. I have already bought a bottle as a gift to my brother who is a true fan of fancy whisky. I'm anxious to hear his judgement.
