It's Aberlour's ever-popular A'Bunadh single malt Scotch whisky! Each batch of this single malt is matured entirely in Spanish oloroso sherry butts, bestowing huge helpings of dried fruit and festive spice notes to the whisky, after which it's bottled up at full-on cask strength with no chill-filtration.
Zesty notes of chocolate-coated orange wheels join sticky ginger loaf and sherried fruits.
Plump sultanas, prunes, cakey spice, and marmalade, with biscuity malt and toffee apple in tow.
Sweet spices and rich oak linger.

This batch 49 is right at the top of the series. Smooth and filled with flavors, to be savoured undiluted, what a quality Aberlour have put in this batch. Even if you do not prefer sherry you want to give this a'Bunadh a try. IMHO an A+
Of all Aberlour a'Bunadh batches this one shines next to Batch 49 at the top of all batches sofar (last=50). So much smoothness and being fully packed with sherry flavors, dates, raisins, spices etc.. Dangerously undiluted zipping is possible with this batch. Happy to have another bottle left for many rainy nights to come
Really good whisky. Quite strong on the nose, it really opens up with a bit of water. Sherry, sweet orange marmalade, a bit of a wooden sauna. It tastes a bit young perhaps.
this one tickles my tastebuds to the max! is a fantastic whiskey to drink neat or with water.. Buy in and you wont regret it!
Its strong, typical speysider with a thick layer of sherry. To much sherry if u ask me. Reminds me of glendronach alladice. Although I enjoy sherry whiskys like Glendronach and benriach sherry matured...this was too one dimmensional. To much sweetness and sherry.
