It's Aberlour's ever-popular A'Bunadh single malt Scotch whisky! Each batch of this single malt is matured entirely in Spanish oloroso sherry butts, bestowing huge helpings of dried fruit and festive spice notes to the whisky, after which it's bottled up at full-on cask strength with no chill-filtration.
Zesty notes of chocolate-coated orange wheels join sticky ginger loaf and sherried fruits.
Plump sultanas, prunes, cakey spice, and marmalade, with biscuity malt and toffee apple in tow.
Sweet spices and rich oak linger.

Pleasant dram but the pricing here is well out of step - unusual for MOM. It's £49 on Amazon or at ocado
A rather outrageous price increase by the owners of Aberlour - pure greed. Very nice whisky, but no way near worth the £80+ price tag. Look elsewhere for your NAS sherry bombs if you're on any sort of budget.
This bottle used to be £35 everywhere in 2016. Then in 2017 it went up to £50. 2018 sees it upwards of £80. It’s just not worth it. If you like your sherry Bombs go for a Glenfarclas 105, £50 most places or the Balvenie 15 Sherry for £85. I’d want something a lot more refined than this. It be 5* at a £40 a bottle. Just silly at £80
After revisiting it again, it remains absolutely outstanding - mifune
Excellent! Highly recommended! Loved the Cask strength!
