Bourbon
Distilled at Aberlour in 1989, this single malt spent the next 33 years maturing in a single bourbon hogshead. The cask was opened by indie bottler Limited in 2023, releasing an outturn of 192 bottles.
Lively scents of orange zest, salted caramel, poached plums, and ripe pears.
White, ripe fruits with a hint of vanilla, spice, and a little pepper. Malty notes also present.
Medium length, flavours of blood oranges that contribute slight dryness.
