A 15 year old Aberlour single malt, usually found on mainland Europe but some of these tasty rascals have drifted out to our little island. Matured in a mixed of sherry and bourbon casks, lending fruity sweetness to the whisky.
Masses of sherry influence. Plump raisins and thick honey.
Heavy vanilla and more honey-dipped raisins. A little hint of almond and orange peel.
Refreshingly drying. Citrus lasts.
Couldn't be happier that this expression has found its way over here.

I'm looking for another bottle but I'm struggling to find one.
OMG! I had the 16 years ago and remember it was awesome but nothing specific and didn't take notes. Im trying this 15 tonight and its absolutely amazing. The most drinkable scotch I can remember ever having.
The best whiskey I've ever enjoyed. Should get more than 5 stars.
Sweet honey sherry smooth really nice whisky
I am new to whiskey, this makes me appreciate the whole genre of that drink so much more. I just add 2 or 3 drop of good old cold Icelandic water and it gives me a tour of my sences, take a sip and seconds later in comes a smooth healthy taste of an almond. And I love it, it is a very good drink for us starters to dream of other more expensive whiskey bottles a very good gateway. It is going to be a frequent visitor to my drink cabinet.
