One of my favorite. Not peaty or smokey, and I love peat and smoke, but a full bodied scotch with some hints of ginger, almonds and oak and a good price. Love the heavy bottle as well?.

Beautiful bottle. Amazing colour. It dances lightly in the mouth but with lovely notes that bite just right :)
Early spring evening with the smell of the last of log fires. Long lasting smooth taste. A small price for perfection.
Reminiscent of Jonny walker green but without as much peat if any, and quite a bit cheaper. Lots of oak, butter scotch, sherry, ginger/cinnamon and sweet on the palate. Tastes fairly matured at 12 Years. I like it and will probably buy again.
