The fantastic and always popular Aberlour 12 Year Old, matured in both traditional oak and sherry casks. This double cask maturation brings rich depth and balance to the crisp, citrus character at its core, with layers of honeyed fruit and sweet spice.

Took a bit of a punt buying this as there were no reviews, and wow, did i get lucky :) I finished the bottle in a couple of weeks (which is almost unheard of for me). I'd compare it to the Balvenie Doublewood 17 year old... which is still my favorite... but i'm buying another bottle of this one now
