Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks, this is an older bottling of 10-year-old single malt from Aberlour. A perennial favourite, typical of the modern Speyside style and thoroughly approachable. Such is its popularity that this bottling has been exported to over fifty countries.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Sweet and full. Sherried raisins, hints of toffee and a pleasant nuttiness.
Quite full-bodied, spicy rich fruitcake, toffee notes and a creamy malty-feel and the vaguest whisper of something akin to synthetic banana.
Caramel and honey, the malt still evident and the sweet spices still linger.
Lovely and rich.

Not very complex one , but very easy drinking with lost of frutty notes ,I should say I bought one on discount for 15 quid , you cant beat the price.
Lovely with a small cube of ice
As and everyday drink nothing beats it straight up no need for water or ice this has a perfect balance.
The sherry and bourbon play well together. Enjoyable, but the finish is bit short. Still, excellent value for money.
Just had half a bottle absolutley fantasic drink. Smooth and encouraging. great value Malt one of my favorites. :D
