Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks, this is an older bottling of 10-year-old single malt from Aberlour. A perennial favourite, typical of the modern Speyside style and thoroughly approachable. Such is its popularity that this bottling has been exported to over fifty countries.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Sweet and full. Sherried raisins, hints of toffee and a pleasant nuttiness.
Quite full-bodied, spicy rich fruitcake, toffee notes and a creamy malty-feel and the vaguest whisper of something akin to synthetic banana.
Caramel and honey, the malt still evident and the sweet spices still linger.
Lovely and rich.

An abshoolootly shwell drop of necta'if I don't shay sho myshelf. Sean Conerry.
This is about the best you can get at this age or price, smooth but complex.
Absolutely stunning, beware this one is rich, but very nice
Great after dinner, really well balanced, lots of delicious sherry and buttery notes to keep you interested. Definitely in my top 10 every day malts and tough to beat for the money.
