This limited edition twist on Aberfeldy’s classic 21 Year Old, originally released as a travel retail exclusive, gets a sun-drenched finish in Madeira wine casks. Handled with care by malt master Stephanie MacLeod, the whisky spent up to 12 months soaking up all that fortified richness before bottling.
The result is a beautifully balanced dram where Aberfeldy’s signature honeyed depth meets layers of ripe fig, walnut, and dark chocolate. One of those whiskies that manage to be both refined and dangerously moreish.
Honeycomb, dried figs, orange peel and soft oak.
Rich and velvety – dark chocolate, toasted walnut, and spiced fruitcake.
Lingering sweetness with a nutty, wine-kissed flourish.
