That Boutique-y Whisky Company is back with another brilliant batch of Glenburgie, and this is the indie bottler's oldest release to date from the Speyside-based distillery. Matured for a generous 27 years in a single hogshead, this single malt weighs in at a satisfying cask strength of 54.3% ABV.
Batch 13 is a release of 385 bottles.

Creamy notes of apricot and vanilla open the way, joined by toasted coconut and tropical fruit salad. Subtle suggestions of menthol and liquorice nestle in the depths.
Superbly mellow, with creamy vanilla and coconut backed by sweet stone fruit, candied mango, and orange peel. A touch of anise and oily oak gather in the distance.
