This small batch vodka is made by creating a variety of botanical spirits featuring the likes of wasabi, galangal, yuzu, bergamot, and sea buckthorn, as well as five hand-foraged organic British seaweeds. Each is then separately vacuum distilled to extract and retain as much flavour as possible, before being blended together and seasoned with a pinch of Dorset sea salt to re-mineralise the water with which the spirit is cut. This vodka scored an impressive 95 points at the 2023 International Wine and Spirits Competition!
Local Dorset artist, Emma Brownjohn designed the bottle's artwork so the image wraps around from the back of the bottle and when viewed from the front, it becomes magnified and distorted as if underwater. Neat!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Lots of citrus and aromatic, earthy spice is joined by a pleasant coastal salinty.
