Produced in Georgia, Mamont Vodka is six times distilled from four types of grain: malted barley, malted millet, winter wheat, and rye. The distilled alcohol is diluted using local well water from the Alazani Valley, then filtered through silver birch charcoal for a soft, smooth profile with grainy weight and delicate spice.
Boiled sweets, cereals. A touch of liquorice, perhaps.
Grainy, thick palate. A little tangy apple, wood, star anise.
Creamy, with a resurgence of liquorice.

I'm really impressed with the purity of this Vodka. Smooth and impressive at the same time.
A nice clean and supremely smooth vodka even when served warm and not from the freezer.
is it vodka? my husband bought some home and we had to shake pathetic dribbles from the bottle after we'd put it in the freezer as it had almost frozen solid. not sure it's the real deal.
When chilled to to the perfect temperature, this is a fantastically smooth, almost sweet vodka.
A rounded and slightly starchy nose. Soft and full with a botanical/ grainy nip and hints of natural vanilla pod. The palate has quiet a candied sweetness. Again soft and full, slightly starchy with an almost apple-sweet character developing. The grain is very intense on the middle, which clears the way for a subtle fennel/ aniseed finish. A definite strange one this.
