Reviews for Glen's Vodka
Not bad
Honestly, after moving to the UK for study-related purposes I did not expect much from this. But it is surprisingly clean, tad lemony and a nice tangy aftertaste. Perhaps a bit too clean to my taste, but still nice, whether by itself or in a Vodka Martini. I honestly say to give it a try. It can surprise.

Better than expected
This vodka has some good points, some bad points.
This vodka is cheap, it is a powerful spirit and it has some subtle overtones of lemon. It is similar to Smirnoff and it is a good mixer. Since most people miss vodka with other drinks, it is a good cheap alternative to more expensive products.
The bad point is that I always find it gives me terrible heartburn on the day I drink it, and it is very acidic. Other vodkas also cause some heartburn but this one os noticeably worse.
Overall, it is good value for money, and a decent product to have in the drinks cupboard, especially since more premium bands cost much more anyway .

Good 37.5% Vodka
Did a side by side comparison with this and Smirnoff drank neat and couldn't tell much of a difference. If anything id say the Glens had slightly less of an after bite. It's vodka, nothing to get excited about but nothing to snub your nose at either. Most of what your paying is VAT.

Nice vodka
Good vodka, always drunk neat on it's own in a glass.
If you have to mix this or anything, then you don't like it.
For example I put salt and vinegar on my chips but not my chill or Curry's which means I don't like chips.
Same with people who put coke or pop in spirits or sugar or sweetener in tea or coffee means they don't like spirits, tea or coffee

Great!
Great vodka, I happily drink it straight. I don't get much petrol from the smell or taste, it can have a very slight oily mouthfeel but it doesn't linger. Never leaves me with a hangover. Vodka is literally just alcohol distilled up to 90-95% and then diluted with water back down to drinkable levels. Anyone willing to pay through the nose for something that is just diluted ethanol is falling for marketing hype. I think the negative reviews from a few years earlier are because there was fake Glen's circulating for a while before the culprits got caught.

Don't be a brand snob when it comes to Vodka
Dispite its brand image which likely has a massive influence on some people's taste perception, this vodka isn't bad at all. The fact it's made from sugarbeet makes it interesting for sipping neat.
