Brecon Five Vodka is a lovely Welsh vodka from the folks that make Penderyn whisky. This is five-times distilled and charcoal filtered, made with pure glacier water and just a hint of barley spirit for added fruitiness.
Drinking as I write. Been a vodka fan for 30yrs. This is the dogs nads. Smooth lovely taste. Straight with cubes the only way to drink. Pure Welsh gold.
I hate vodka. BUT I love this from Penderyn. Its smooth and has a slight malted barley flavour. And its the dingo's kidneys neat. Seriously folks I never buy or drink vodka but this one. Well nuff said!!

I was really expecting the best from this vodka. The branding; the reviews. I assumed that this would be a beautiful smooth drink. The first time I tried it I blamed the mixer, the lime I used...thought maybe it was what I had eaten earlier. Actually every cocktail I have made with this vodka has been pretty awful. It hass the most over-poweringly strong chemically, plastic-on-fire, slightly sickly taste I have ever encountered in a vodka and not at all what I would expect from what the branding suggests. I am honestly confused by the other reviews but, sorry, what I am tasting and smelling is not good in any way at all.
