An Irish vodka from the Boatyard range, made with Irish wheat. The Boatyard team are heavily invested in ensuring they get their hands on the best ingredients, to the point that they can even trace back which farmer supplied the wheat from each bottle. The don't filter the spirit, leaving the flavour profile and mouth feel to come completely from the distillation (which occurs in a still charmingly named Mr. Fusion).
Soft vanilla and white pepper, with a touch of cut grass. Subtly oily.
A very unique taste palette to this small batch vodka. If I was blindfolded I would would be fooled that it was whiskey, at least with slimline tonic as the mixer. Definitely more suited to a neat drinking or to enhance a mixer/cocktail. Definitely not something a typical vodka drinker would appreciate.
O dear. Sorry this vodka was so not a vodka I could drink. It had an initial smell followed by what I could only describe as a mild rum flavour. Almost tasted a mild Bacardi and as someone who doesn’t like Bacardi an unwelcome flavour Just opened the bottle will be giving it away could not drink it and as a Fermanagh person I wanted to love it
Terrible after taste and not smooth. Much better options out there. Was very disappointed. Try Ballykeefe or Sausage tree.
The worst Vodka i ever tested. Serry bad smell and tested the same
Vodka is my go-to. Honestly don't know how anyone who's knows a good vodka can score this 1 star!
