The creation of West Dorset dairy farmer Jason Barber, Black Cow claims to be the world's first pure milk vodka, made from nothing but pure whole milk. The whey is used for vodka whilst the curds go into Jason's award winning cheeses!
Through clean mineral notes there’s creamy white chocolate, floral vanilla, desiccated coconut and a little lemon mousse and white pepper spice.
That vanilla and white chocolate sweetness from the nose carry over along with more peppery spice.
Warming, clean and creamy.
The best English vodka I’ve ever tried! Smooth, creamy, does t even need a mixer! I will definitely be buying this again!! Well done guys ??????
Fantastic. In my opinion, I think it may be the smoothest vodka ever. Neat or over ice.
When drunk neat: nasty initial milky taste (not nice milk) which intensifies as it begins to mildly irritate when swallowed. Not a particularly smooth vodka, on par with Stolichnaya or Smirnoff. There are much nicer similarly priced (and cheaper) vodkas. Tried recently: Limehouse, Brecon Five and Reyka (all fairly neutral and acceptable to drink neat). Not sure this will even work with mixers and might be poured down the drain. A similar experience was Zubrówka, a non-neutral vodka, however Żubrówka was perfectly palatable and completely possible to aquire a taste for.
Tastes of sour milk when drunk neat avoid at all costs.
